FOREIGN RIGHTS & EXPORT
SALES

In the export department we are responsible for the selling of English
Language books into bookshops around the world.
|
We do this in two ways:

We have arrangements with publishers
or distributors in countries who sell our list, along with
their own titles, into accounts across their country. These
arrangements are predominantly in countries where English
is the main language. They then supply from their own stock.

|
We also have a team of Export Agents
who sell our English language books into bookshops in their
own designated countries. This happens in countries where
English is not the main spoken language. We then supply these
orders from our stock in the U.K.
|
|
We meet the distributors and export agents at all major book fairs to
look at ways that we can increase export sales throughout the year.
The Agents and the Distributors are supplied with the same material that
the representatives receive for selling into the U.K.
